Winston's ideal home
Winston is a sweet, shy Bulldog who would love to find a quiet home. He has been known to be nervous of new people, and struggled a bit with visitors to his home. For this reason he is looking for an adult-only home where he has a safe space that he can take himself off to if needed. Winston can be unsure around some dogs but is ok with others, so has potential to build up to having some walking friends. He would benefit from a low dog-populated area so that this can be built up slowly, and he’d love his walking routes to be away from busy roads.

Winston is 2 years old and can’t wait to get back into a home. He originally came to us through no fault of his own as his owner became unable to care for him. However he found a new home environment a bit overwhelming and was uncomfortable around visitors. He has a history of being left for a few hours without any issue so this could be slowly reintroduced once he is settled. Winston is happy to jump into a car, and even refused to get out at one point, so car travel should definitely be an option for him! Winston can be a bit boisterous and quite cheeky but he’s very clever and loves to learn. With some tasty treats he should really enjoy training sessions with his new family.
