Mabel's ideal home
Mabel is looking for a home that can give her all the time and attention she deserves. She is quite a bouncy girl who doesn’t always keep her feet on the floor so any children in her home would need to be comfortable with this and be aged 12 years and over. Mabel is happy to be around other dogs on her walks and could have walking buddies, but sometimes finds it worrying when dogs come up to her face when she doesn’t know them very well, so she would benefit from owners who can advocate for her when out and about and make sure that she has positive interactions with other dogs as she continues her socialisation. Mabel cannot live with cats or small animals. Although she doesn’t have much formal training other than a lovely sit for a treat, she walks nicely on her lead and has the potential to learn lots more with positive, reward based training. She will need her own secure garden as she may need housetraining in her new home. Mabel is still quite a young girl and would prefer to have her humans around her for most of her day with minimal leaving, especially when she first goes home. She will need to be introduced to being left with initial short times, building up as she gains confidence. Mabel’s height is below the threshold required for a dog to be considered an American Bully XL type. Mabel will need to meet her adopters multiple times to build a strong bond prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted.

Mabel is a sweet, affectionate and beautiful 17 month old Bulldog Cross who absolutely loves to play and be with her people. Instantly friendly with everyone she meets, she jumps up to say a happy hello and to get fusses if they are on offer. She has a lot of energy and is really playful, finding fun in everything she does, she is a huge fan of zooming off after a tennis ball and we think she would do this all day if she could! She loves a tasty treat and will give her best sit for her reward! Sadly, Mabel has had her ears cropped which is illegal in the UK and we absolutely do not condone it. Mabel is an amazing dog that deserves a loving home where she can be cherished and given all the love she has to offer. In return, Mabel will shower her new family with affection and joy.
