About This Dog for Adoption

Chopper's ideal home

Meet Chopper! Chopper is a fun-loving chap on the lookout for his forever home. He is super affectionate and would be best suited as the only dog in the home as he loves all the attention to himself! Chopper's favourite hobby is playtime and he loves to get everyone involved! If he is sharing his home with any children, we feel he'd be best with ages 14+ who can handle his excited energy. Chopper loves people so much that he isn't a fan of being left on his own so would appreciate company during the day until leaving time could be built up gradually. He likes getting out for short walks, but equally enjoys pottering around the garden and would love a large, enclosed outdoor space where he could spend time with you.

Could you be Chopper's perfect match?

Chopper is a 6 year-old Boston Terrier x Bulldog. He is a friendly boy who loves nothing more than playing with his toys followed by a snuggle with his favourite people. As Chopper is a brachycephalic breed he will need his exercise tailored to meet his needs, this would include shorter walks and not letting him get over heated. Breed experience would be helpful with this, but not necessary. If you think you have a spot on your sofa for the lovely Chopper, follow the steps below to submit an application and don't forget to "favourite" him!

Bulldog Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a English Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Bulldog Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
