About This Dog for Adoption

Dotty's ideal home

Dotty is on the search for her forever home with a loving family who can help her settle back into home life. She loves everyone she meets, especially if they have a tasty snack to hand. She can live with primary school aged children in the home if they are comfortable around dogs who can jump up. Dotty doesn’t need a garden in her home pending that her physical and mental needs are met. Dotty could go to a home with one other dog pending meets at the centre. She can also live with other pets including cats. Dotty does have some medical considerations that will be discussed with our vet team upon a booking.

Could you be Dotty's perfect match?

Darling Dotty is a fun and loveable girl who adores spending quality time with her favourite people. She enjoys all the home comforts life has to offer and adores snuggling up in her blankets. She hasn’t shown any interest in toys, but we hope she will learn to love them in her forever home. Dotty is a clever girl who knows her name, sit, paw, wait and walks calmly on lead. She will make a wonderful new addition to her forever family.

Hank

  • 2 years old

Hank's ideal home Hank would like a home that preferably has a private garden. Hank can be worried by new people and being overhandled. He can also be very excitable on occasion and, therefore we believe he would be better suited to living with children of secondary school age. He could be left for up to six hours if this time was built up slowly and once he had settled in.

Bulldog Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a English Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Bulldog Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
