About This Dog for Adoption

Pumpkin's ideal home

Pumpkin is an charming 1yr old Bulldog cross who is looking for a family that can help her learn about the wide world and continue her training at a pace that suits her. She is a lovely girl and can exhibit typical young dog behaviours such as jumping up when excited, she can also be quite worried in new environments due to this she would be best suited to a home where any children are of older primary school age and over. She has not lived with a cat before but we have seen no prey drive from her, due to this she has potential to join a home with a dog savvy cat with careful introductions. Pumpkin could live with another dog pending successful meets at the centre. Pumpkin doesn’t need a garden as long as has regular walks and wee breaks, she would still like access to enclosed off lead areas to be able to have zoomies whilst she works on recall.

Could you be Pumpkin's perfect match?

Pumpkin came into us with very little information having been found as a stray. She is a cute, friendly girl who has not had the best of starts and as such can be worried and need reassurance especially around loud noises and sudden movements. She would like someone around at home with her initially to help her settle into her new home and leaving hours can then be built to a couple of hours.
