About This Dog

Odin's ideal home

Lovely Odin is a 4-year-old Bulldog searching for his forever home. This handsome boy could live with teenagers aged 16 and over and is looking for a quieter home environment where he can truly relax and thrive. Odin would like to be the only dog in the home, where he can enjoy all the love and attention to himself. However, he would enjoy having some calm, well-mannered doggy friends to go on walks with. He is unable to live with small furries, and we have no history of him living around livestock.

When meeting new people, Odin can be a little shy and sensitive at first, but it doesn't take long for his playful personality to shine through, especially if there are toys involved! Once he's made a friend, he's incredibly affectionate and loves spending time with his favourite people. Odin enjoys exploring the world around him and can sometimes be strong on the lead when he's excited or somewhere new. In his foster home, he has been comfortable being left for up to four hours. He is housetrained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. Travelling can make Odin a little nervous, so he currently travels in a covered crate in the car. Ideally, he'd love a home with walks right on the doorstep, away from busy roads and heavy traffic, as loud vehicles can be unsettling for him.

Could you be Odin's perfect match?

Although a little reserved at first, Odin is a big-hearted goofball once he feels comfortable. He loves affection, enjoys a game of fetch, and has a particular soft spot for squeaky balls. Food is another one of his favourite things, especially if cheese or peanut butter is on offer! Odin loves getting out for his walks and is happiest when he can splash and wade in water. At home, he loves a nap and can often be found snoozing on the sofa or curled up in a cosy bed, especially if there's a sunny spot to enjoy.

This clever boy already knows several cues, including "sit", "down", "paw", and "wait". With positive reward-based training, he'd love to continue learning new skills and building his confidence. Odin is a lovely boy who just needs a little time and understanding to settle into his new home. Once he does, you'll discover a playful, affectionate companion who will make a wonderful addition to the right family.
