About This Dog

Hetty's ideal home

Hetty needs a home where any children are older teens and there are no other pets, but she will walk happily with calm dogs. She is house trained and good when left by herself. Hetty has recently had surgery to improve her breathing and has recovered well without any need for further treatment.

Could you be Hetty's perfect match?

Hetty is a super little Bulldog who has settled nicely into a foster home. She has been passed around a few homes in recent years so is looking for some stability from a forever family. She's a loving girl and can very playful when the mood strikes, enjoying tuggy games and is a big fan of puddles and open water! Hetty previously lived with an energetic young child and there was an incident when the child and Hetty were alone but we don't know what happened, so to avoid any similar incidents we will not be rehoming her with children. Hetty can be a bit OTT herself, and often greets strangers to the home with an enthusiastic hump! She does settle quickly but she can be very strong, so this is something potential adopters will need to consider. Hetty has been great in her foster home, settling into a routine quite quickly. She loves her walks and happily says hello to everyone, including other dogs. She has been jealous of other dogs receiving attention in a previous home so seems to be happier when all the attention is on her.
