Lilley

Lilley's ideal home

Lilley needs to be the only pet at home but she can live with children aged 10. She needs someone at home with her as although she is house trained, she will toilet if left alone, even for a short time. She has ear and skin disease, which is quite typical for her breed, but she also has a grade 3 heart murmur.

Could you be Lilley's perfect match?

Lilley has been described by her foster carer as being like a toddler who has tantrums when she's tired or doesn't want to go to bed! She loves to get attention from people, in fact she enjoys it so much that she gets jealous when other dogs are being a made a fuss of, which is why she needs to be the only dog at home. She mixes well with other dogs out and about though, and should be encouraged to socialise. Lil enjoys a slow approach from people and she can be worried by loud bangs and noises. She is very friendly but likes to suss things out for herself first before leaping on you! She has come on in leaps and bounds since being in a foster home, she's more accepting of unfamiliar people coming to the house and will do zoomies when she's in the mood! Lilley has also been less wary of noises and now sometimes investigates instead of running away. Food is the way to Lilley's heart and has a tendency to inhale it as soon as she can, so may benefit from a slow feeder to help her take her time. Lilley has a heart murmur but can live a normal health life with it. Her facial skin folds will need regular care and cleaning, and her ear and skin disease are managed with cleaner and medicated baths.
