Ricky's ideal home
Ricky is an exuberant 2 year old American Bulldog cross Bulldog. He is an active lad looking for a home that is quiet and calm and have previous experience as adults with similar breeds and are confident and committed to continue his training in a positive manner. Ricky's home will need to be adult only with a private garden that is secure, so that he can enjoy the freedom and have those mad zoomies! He can become over stimulated when meeting people visiting the home or when out and about, so owners will need to continue with his training, teaching him to keep all four paws on the floor and to greet people calmly.
Could you be Ricky's perfect match?
Ricky will need time to settle into his new home before gradually starting the process of leaving him by himself as he is showing some insecurity being left at the moment. He will need some continued work on his doggy social skills as he is unsure how to react to his canine friends, but we are sure he will make friends given time and positive training. He is unable to live with cats or small furries. Multiple visits to the centre will be needed to get to know Ricky and this will need to be a as regularly as possible. This lad just needs time to re-adjust and to focus on starting a new chapter with his new family.
