Posie's ideal home

Posie is approx. 7 yrs. 8mths old and a Bulldog who, can live in a home with children 16+ and must be the only pet. Posie is an extremely sweet, shy girl who would benefit from being in a calm home with very few visitors, as she can become anxious. She is housetrained, although the odd accident may happen at first whilst she is settling in with her new family. Posie would be able to be left for up to 4 hours although this would need to be built up slowly to begin with. This cutie pie is currently on a weight management plan and needs a moderate exercise regime, a private garden would be beneficial for her to mooch around in. Due to this she will not be able to live in accommodation that has lots of stairs.

Posie will need a family to build her confidence, and although she is to be the only pet in the home she will, benefit from calm walking friends to keep her socialisation skills and confidence Posie however will always need kept on a lead when out and about. Due to her nervous side her new family need to come to the centre and meet her several times to build a bond before going home. Our Training and behaviour team here at the centre to give her new family advice and guidance with Posie and give them the tools they need to help her adjust to her new home.
