If you are after a cheerful, fun-loving companion with a big personality and plenty of charm, Bosco might just be your boy! This four-year-old Bulldog is a sweetheart who loves toys, food, and a good fuss – especially if it includes a butt scratch or two.
Bosco would love a calm and consistent home where his new family can help him settle in at his own pace. He may be able to live with another friendly dog, but it is not essential – what matters most is a home where he can be part of the action. Children aged 12 and older may be a good match, as long as they are comfortable with his strong on-lead walking and occasionally cheeky antics – like jumping up for toys or gently nibbling fingers when excited around food.
He will need any time alone built up slowly once he has found his paws, and he is undergoing treatment so adopters must be comfortable with ongoing medical costs. The team will chat through all the details during the reservation process.

Bosco is the kind of dog who brings a smile to everyone he meets. He is friendly from the start and thrives on human company. He enjoys walks and has been calm around traffic, but due to his short snout, his exercise will need to be kept light and steady – no marathons for this lad! He can be strong on lead at times but generally walks well and is comfortable being handled.
He was brilliant for a bath, loved being towel dried, and even enjoyed a brush – he took it all in his stride. Bosco has shown lovely manners around other dogs and has a playful side that comes out especially with tug toys or soft squeaky ones. He does get excited during play and may jump or grab, so his new family will need to help him with calm, consistent cues – and know the difference between his lead and a toy!
He already knows sit and paw, and with his love of food, he is sure to pick up more skills quickly. While he has no travel history, he hopped straight into the car and seemed very relaxed – especially in the backseat.
