About This Dog for Adoption

Breagh's ideal home

Breagh is a 4-year-old English Bulldog cross with a big heart, a playful spark, and plenty more energy than you might expect. She’s hoping for a calm, loving home where she can be the star of the show as the only pet, soaking up all the attention for herself. While she prefers being the sole focus of her family’s love, Breagh is relaxed meeting other dogs on her walks and happily strolls by without fuss. A secure, private garden with fencing at least 3 to 4 feet high would be perfect for Breagh. She loves chasing her ball and sniffing every corner like a little “truffle pig” on a mission. Breagh could live with secondary school-aged children who understand when she needs her own space, and would suit owners with breed experience or anyone who’s done their homework and is ready to give her the fun, structure, and exercise she enjoys. Breagh is crate trained, settles beautifully with a chew or toy when left for a few hours, and travels well in the car, making her a great companion for little adventures.

Could you be Breagh's perfect match?

Breagh is affectionate, loyal, and absolutely adores being around her people. Her mornings start with happy tail wags, and she loves following her foster carers around the house, always ready for a snuggle or a game of fetch. She is full of life and looks forward to her twice-daily hour-long walks. She walks nicely on the lead and is happy for other dogs to speak to her as long as they are polite. Breagh can’t resist a good game of fetch, working a treat out of her kong, or settling down with a chew. After playtime, she’s more than happy to curl up in her crate or snuggle in for a cosy nap. She knows her basic cues, is very food motivated (chicken is her absolute favourite),and takes treats ever so gently. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion who’ll keep you smiling with her cheeky antics and warm cuddles, Breagh could be the perfect match. She’ll thrive in a home that enjoys lovely walks, playful sessions, and plenty of relaxed downtime together.

Please note: Breagh came into our care with a docked tail. Tail docking is illegal in the UK except for essential medical reasons or certain working breeds, and we do not support unnecessary tail docking.

AWE licence number 13090 by West Lothian Council.

Bulldog Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a English Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Bulldog Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
