About This Dog for Adoption

Remi's ideal home

Remi is an 11-month-old Pocket Bully x British Bulldog cross who is full of love, energy and enthusiasm for life. She is looking for an active, patient home where she can enjoy plenty of company, play, and training as she continues to grow and learn. Remi would love a secure, private garden (minimum 3–4 ft fencing) where she can play, learn, and burn off her puppy energy. She’s full of love and enjoys being close to her people, so would suit a home where someone is around for much of the day. She could live with a friendly, playful dog after careful introductions, but she will need a home with no cats or other small animals. She can live with secondary school-aged children who understand that she’s still a bouncy, boisterous youngster. Her ideal owners will have experience with bully or bulldog breeds, or will have researched these types thoroughly and be ready to continue her training and provide the guidance and routine she needs to thrive. An understanding of the associated health issues with flat faced breeds is also preferred.

Could you be Remi's perfect match?

Remi is affectionate, sociable, and full of character. She quickly bonds with her carers and loves being part of everything that’s going on. She adores meeting people, showering them with kisses, and is a happy, wiggly girl who finds joy in every bit of attention she gets. She is learning all about life in her foster home, including toilet training, sleeping through the night, and basic commands. She’s already showing huge progress and responds really well to praise and positive reinforcement. Remi has started to settle into a routine and is learning to relax when left alone for short periods. She enjoys gentle walks, toys she can carry around, and anything that involves being with her people. Remi also gets along well with other dogs after careful introductions and has been learning to be polite and respectful with the resident foster dog. At the vets Remi has been a superstar, calmly allowing examination and loving all the attention. She travels well in the car, preferring to be lifted in rather than jumping, and then settles quickly. Remi is a young dog with so much love to give. With time, patience, and ongoing training, she will grow into a wonderful, loyal companion who brings a lot of joy and affection to her forever family. AWE licence number 13090 by West Lothian Council.

Bulldog Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a English Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Bulldog Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
