Sully's ideal home
Sully is a beautiful 6-year-old Beagle cross Bulldog with a big heart and a playful spirit! He's looking for a fun and active home where he can enjoy plenty of adventures and mental stimulation to keep his clever mind busy.
Sully is happiest when he’s with his favourite people. He doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long, so he’s hoping to find a family who can give him plenty of company and help him gradually build confidence being on his own.
He loves his walks, especially in peaceful areas away from the hustle and bustle of other dogs. Sully would prefer to be the only pet in the home so he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. He’s also a big fan of toys and is always ready for a game or two!
This smart boy is housetrained and already knows lots of tricks which he’s always keen to show off, especially if there are treats involved. While Sully is friendly and affectionate, he does like to have his own space sometimes, especially around his favourite toys. For this reason, he’d be best suited to a home with children aged 12 and over who can respect his boundaries.

Sully does have some ongoing medical needs and whilst he's not currently on medication, this may affect him in the future. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will bring tons of joy and personality into your life, Sully might just be your perfect match!
This dog is currently being rehomed under our Home Stay scheme. Under this scheme, the dog stays with their current owner until the point of adoption, when the ownership transfers briefly to Dogs Trust and then to the new adopters. The benefits of Home Stay for a dog are that it minimises disruption and prevents the dog having to come into kennels, however there is the potential the owner may pull out of the scheme prior to adoption. We understand the upset this may cause to potential adopters, and we work closely with the owners to minimised the likelihood of this. However, it remains a possibility, and should this occur, Dogs Trust will prioritise finding adopters an alternative dog.
