About This Dog for Adoption

Bill's ideal home

He’s a sweet and gentle soul who can sometimes find the big wide world a bit overwhelming. Loud noises and busy environments tend to stress him out, so Bill is hoping for a calm and peaceful home away from the hustle and bustle.

We believe Bill would do best in a home with children aged 16 and over, who can understand his sensitivities and offer him the patience and reassurance he needs.

Bill absolutely loves toys especially the squeaky ones! He’s also very food motivated, which is helping him make great progress with his training. He’s learning how to better manage his feelings when things get a bit too much.

His future family should be prepared to continue working with our training team here at the centre, and carry on that support at home to help Bill settle in successfully.

He’s lived in a home before and was housetrained, though he may need a little refresher as he adjusts to a new routine. He’s only been used to being left alone for short periods (around an hour),so this should be built up gradually over time.

Bill would prefer to be the only pet in the home for now, and would benefit from calm, positive social experiences at his own pace.

Could you be Bill's perfect match?

Beautiful little Bill is a wonderful boy, with so much potential. He's affectionate and friendly with his trusted friends but just as happy to explore and play on his own. He would love to have his own garden where he can safely play, sniff and roll around in the grass! If you think you could offer Bill his forever home, then get in touch with our team today!

Bulldog Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a English Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Bulldog Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
