About This Dog for Adoption

Maggie's ideal home

Maggie is a 3 month old Bulldog looking for her new forever home. she is likely to be medium to large when fully grown. She is currently in foster and doing well with her basic training. However being a puppy she will need her new owners to continue basic training with her, and attend positive puppy classes when fully vaccinated. She can live with children aged 5 and above that are happy and used to dogs. She can live with other pets and a dog pending successful dog meets here at the centre. Time left alone would need to be introduced slowly to Maggie and building up once settled. Maggie would benefit from having her own secure garden to continue basic house training until fully vaccinated and then can start exploring the big world.

Could you be Maggie's perfect match?

If you feel you could offer Maggie her forever home then please do apply to adopt today. Please be aware if successful she will be home with you in the next 7 days.

Hank

  • 2 years old

Hank's ideal home Hank would like a home that preferably has a private garden. Hank can be worried by new people and being overhandled. He can also be very excitable on occasion and, therefore we believe he would be better suited to living with children of secondary school age. He could be left for up to six hours if this time was built up slowly and once he had settled in.

Bulldog Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a English Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Bulldog Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
